- US Embassy Officials Call on Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs; Acclaim Pakistan’s Role in Global Peace and Counter-Terrorism ISLAMABAD, June 29: A high-level delegation from the United States Embassy called on the Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, at his office. The US delegation included Minister Counselor for Political Affairs Counselor Terry Steers-Gonzalez and Internal Political Unit Chief Karen Glosser. The meeting focused on bilateral relations, regional security, diplomatic cooperation, and parliamentary affairs, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the long-standing partnership between Pakistan and the United States. The US officials highly commended Pakistan's strategic mediation role in fostering global peace and regional stability.

Personnel of the Islamabad Police presented a salute during the flag-hoisting ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry described Pakistan-China friendship as unparalleled. “China has always stood by Pakistan during difficult times,” said Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. “Pakistan is determined to further expand trade and economic relations with China,” he added. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal General Asim Munir are playing a historic role in further strengthening Pakistan-China friendship,” said Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
