Officers Across Federal Ministries Participate in PIPS Training on Private Members’ Bills

ISLAMABAD: Council Officers and Focal Persons from various Federal Ministries and Divisions, including the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, participated in a two-day capacity-building workshop titled "The Legislative Journey of a Private Member's Bill," organized by the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) from July 29–30, 2026.

The intensive training focused on enhancing the technical capacity of federal officers in examining, processing, and coordinating legislative proposals. Key sessions led by parliamentary experts covered inter-ministerial consultations, preparation of ministerial comments, committee scrutiny, and post-passage responsibilities.  The initiative highlights ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and foster seamless legislative coordination between the Executive and the Parliament.
